Years ago, before moving to Texas, Grandpa had lived in a small town in Colorado.

According to local stories, the symbol belonged to a secret family journal that had disappeared decades earlier.

Most people believed it was only a legend.

But Grandpa knew it was real.

Because his own grandfather had once shown it to him.

The doctor looked shocked.

The symbol matched perfectly.

Then the newborn suddenly stopped crying.
