The father slowly took the strange blue wristband from the nurse.

No hospital ID.

The mother held her newborn closer.

Nobody had an answer.

Minutes later, an elderly nurse quietly entered the room carrying an old storage box.

“I’ve worked here for over thirty years,” she said.

She opened the dusty box.

Inside were dozens of old newborn wristbands.

At the very bottom lay another blue wristband.

It had the exact same engraving.

The doctor compared them.

They matched perfectly.

Then the elderly nurse unfolded an old newspaper clipping stored inside the box.

The headline read:

“Miracle Baby Born Without A Cry.”

The article was dated exactly twenty-five years earlier.

The doctor slowly looked at the newborn.

Then back at the article.

The room became completely silent.

The newborn reached out with his tiny hand and touched the old wristband.
