The Skyline Message
The room became completely silent.
The doctor continued staring at the old photograph.
His hands trembled.
“What do you see?” the father asked.
Without speaking, the doctor handed him the picture.
The father’s face instantly turned pale.
The photograph showed the exact same hospital room.
The same window overlooking San Francisco Bay.
The same bassinet.
Everything was identical.
But the date printed in the corner was twenty-two years old.
The mother whispered,
“That’s impossible…”
Then everyone noticed something even stranger.
A newborn baby was lying in the bassinet.
And standing beside him…
was the exact same baby boy who had just been born today.
Wearing the same hospital bracelet.
The same tiny birthmark on his left hand.
The nurse stepped back in shock.
“How can today’s baby be in a photograph taken twenty-two years ago?”
Before anyone could answer, the newborn suddenly stopped crying.
He slowly turned his head toward the hospital window.
At that exact moment…
A paper airplane floated through the slightly open window and landed beside the bassinet.
Attached to it was another sealed envelope.
The father carefully opened it.
Inside was a single handwritten sentence.
“Turn the photograph over.”
Everyone held their breath.
The doctor slowly flipped the photograph.
Written on the back were four chilling words:
“He’s Not The First.”
The room froze.
